The main component of Titanium Grade 8 (Ti-8Al-1Mo-1V), a high-strength alpha-beta alloy, is titanium (about 90%), with 8% aluminium, 1% molybdenum, and 1% vanadium. This alloy has good creep resistance, moderate ductility, and excellent tensile strength (usually 860–950 MPa) and yield strength (approximately 800 MPa). It has a hardness of about 250 HB. In high-temperature settings, titanium Gr 8 preserves structural integrity and is resistant to fatigue, stress-corrosion cracking, and corrosion.
