Usually, titanium bars are made of either pure titanium (Grade 2) or titanium-aluminum-vanadium alloys (Grade 5). Grade 2 has a moderate strength and excellent corrosion resistance due to its approximately 99.2% titanium content. With 6% aluminium and 4% vanadium, Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) offers a high strength-to-weight ratio and improved fatigue resistance. Densities are approximately 4.5 g/cm³, and tensile strengths range from 344 MPa (Grade 2) to 950 MPa (Grade 5). Because of their exceptional biocompatibility, low thermal expansion, and high ductility, these bars can be used in a variety of demanding settings.
