Elvis Nickel Alloys, located in Houston, USA, is a reliable manufacturer and supplier of Super Duplex Steel Forgings, designed to withstand high strength and exceptional corrosion resistance in the toughest environments. Crafted from premium materials like UNS S32750 (SAF 2507) and UNS S32760 (Zeron® 100), these forgings feature a dual-phase (austenitic-ferritic) microstructure that offers remarkable resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking. Available in various forms such as shafts, rings, flanges, discs, and custom shapes, Super Duplex Steel Forgings are perfect for high-performance applications in the oil & gas, marine, and chemical sectors, adhering to standards like ASTM A182 and ASME B16.5.
Super Duplex Steel Forgings generally consist of 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, 3–5% molybdenum, 0.2–0.3% nitrogen, along with trace elements like copper, manganese, and tungsten. These alloys boast a high PREN (>40), ensuring excellent resistance to localized corrosion. Their mechanical properties include tensile strength reaching up to 800 MPa, yield strength of at least 550 MPa, and impressive impact toughness, even in sub-zero conditions. The forged state improves the steel’s grain structure and strength, making it ideal for applications that demand reliability under high pressure, vibration, and mechanical stress.

Super duplex steel forgings are used in complex applications requiring high strength and corrosion resistance. They are essential for offshore oil and gas platforms, subsea equipment and chemical processing, where they withstand harsh and corrosive environmental conditions Besides, due to the impermeability of seawater, these fins are used in marine applications, such as ships and desalination plants. They also operate in the petrochemical and power generation industries and provide reliable and sustainable solutions for communications and infrastructure.
