Rene 41 Sheets and Plates consist of a nickel-chromium-based superalloy that contains about 19% chromium, 11% cobalt, 10% molybdenum, and small amounts of aluminum and titanium for added strength. This alloy maintains high strength and oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1,800°F (980°C). Typical tensile strength is over 1,200 MPa, along with excellent creep and stress rupture resistance. Rene 41 can be age-hardened and shows good fatigue and thermal stability. Its mechanical strength and stability make it suitable for extreme environments where both mechanical and thermal stresses are high.
