Rene 41 Round Bar is a nickel-based superalloy made up of about 19% chromium, 11% cobalt, 10% molybdenum, 3% titanium, and 1.5% aluminum, with the remainder being nickel. This age-hardenable alloy provides tensile strengths over 1,200 MPa and maintains mechanical integrity at temperatures up to 1800°F (980°C). It shows excellent resistance to oxidation, creep, and stress rupture. Rene 41 also has good fatigue resistance and stability during thermal cycling. These mechanical properties make it a trustworthy choice for critical structural components in extreme heat and high-stress settings.
