Nimonic Sheets and Plates are manufactured from nickel-based superalloys with 45–80% Nickel content and additions of Chromium, Cobalt, Titanium, and Aluminum. They provide tensile strength in excess of 900 MPa, high creep rupture properties, and oxidation resistance up to 1000°C. The plates and sheets are solution-annealed and aged to realize optimal strength and thermal resistance. Such properties make them shape-retaining with load-carrying capacity in hostile temperature conditions. Their microstructure resists grain growth and deformation under thermal cycling.
