Nimonic 90 Bars consist of a nickel base (approximately 57%) with chromium (18–21%), cobalt (15–20%), and trace elements such as titanium and aluminum for precipitation strengthening. The bars provide tensile strengths of up to 1100 MPa with superior fatigue, creep, and rupture resistance at temperatures to 950°C. The bars possess dimensional stability and withstand oxidation on prolonged exposure to high temperature. Nimonic 90 is solution–treated and precipitation–hardened to improve grain structure and mechanical stability for high-performance use.
