Nickel (roughly 76%) and chromium (19–21%) make up the majority of Nimonic 80A Sheets and Plates, with titanium (2.0–2.7%) and aluminium (1.0–1.8%) added for strength enhancement through precipitation hardening. This alloy has good creep resistance up to 815°C and excellent mechanical qualities, such as tensile strength up to 965 MPa and yield strength around 600 MPa. Nimonic 80A is perfect for stress-bearing components in harsh thermal environments because it is heat-treated for increased durability and retains its mechanical integrity under cyclic loading and high-temperature service.
