Nimonic 80A is made up of about 76% nickel, 19.5% chromium, 2.3% titanium, and 1.4% aluminum. The alloy provides great creep and oxidation resistance up to 815°C. It shows a tensile strength of up to 965 MPa and a yield strength of around 650 MPa after aging. Nimonic 80A is precipitation-hardened and offers high resistance to thermal fatigue. Its microstructure improves mechanical stability under extreme operating conditions. The bar keeps its strength under extended thermal exposure, making it highly suitable for turbine blades, combustion chambers, and high-stress structural components.
