Nickel Alloy 200 Forged Fittings are mostly composed of commercially pure nickel (≥99.6%) with negligible carbon levels (≤0.15%) and trace contaminants like iron, copper, and manganese. The alloy is characterized by tensile strength of about 380 MPa, yield strength of about 100 MPa, and elongation of approximately 45%, offering high ductility and toughness. The low carbon level provides superior corrosion resistance, particularly in caustic and reducing environments. Nickel 200 is also characterized by excellent thermal conductivity and weldability, which make these forged fittings suitable for high-performance, demanding industrial applications needing strength and durability.
