Nickel Alloy 200 Bolts are composed of commercially pure nickel (≥99.6%), minimal carbon (≤0.15%), and trace iron, manganese, copper, and silicon. This allows excellent corrosion resistance, especially in caustic and reducing conditions. The bolts have tensile strength of about 380 MPa, yield strength of 100 MPa, and elongation of about 45%, giving high ductility and toughness. Nickel 200 also has high thermal and electrical conductivity, low magnetic permeability, and superior resistance to embrittlement, and is therefore well suited for precision fastening in chemically aggressive or high-temperature conditions.
