In Houston, Texas, Elvis Nickel Alloys is a leading producer and supplier of high-performance Inconel 690 Bars, serving sectors that demand exceptional resistance to heat and corrosion. We are renowned for providing premium nickel alloys, and we provide Inconel 690 bars that satisfy essential requirements for thermal, chemical processing, and nuclear applications. Our Inconel 690 products, which prioritise quality, durability, and accuracy, come in a range of sizes and can be customised to meet specific needs. Elvis Nickel Alloys is a reliable partner for customers worldwide because of our team’s rigorous adherence to international standards, quick delivery, and technical support.
The main component of Inconel 690 Bars is nickel (≥58%), with notable proportions of iron (~7–11%) and chromium (~27–31%). Particularly in sulfur-rich and acidic environments, this alloy provides exceptional resistance to high-temperature oxidation and corrosion. Inconel 690 has a melting point of 1,370–1,380°C, a tensile strength of about 620 MPa, and good creep resistance. It exhibits outstanding metallurgical stability and retains mechanical integrity in the face of extreme heat. Because of these characteristics, it is perfect for demanding industrial settings that demand structural stability and long-term performance.

Inconel 690 Bars are frequently found in nuclear power plants, particularly for components exposed to high temperatures and high pressures, such as steam generator tubing. Because of their resistance to strong acids and oxidising agents, they are utilised in reactor vessels, condensers, and heat exchangers in the chemical processing industry. The oxidation resistance of Inconel 690 is also advantageous for thermal processing applications, such as radiant tubes and furnace components. This alloy is also utilised in desalination plants, aerospace parts, and industrial heating systems, where high-performance materials are required due to prolonged exposure to extreme heat and corrosive conditions.

Inconel 690 bars are primarily used at high temperatures due to their oxidation and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in the space combustion industry, gas turbines and electrical equipment for components such as heating liners and blades. Resistance to carburization and oxidation makes it ideal for heat exchangers, furnace components and reactor cores in nuclear power plants. Inconel 690 is also used in chemical plants where high strength and resistance to corrosive agents such as sulfuric and phosphoric acid are required
