Our precision-machined Hastelloy needle valves are made in Houston, USA, and are suitable for flow control in corrosive and high-purity systems. The valves have a highly threaded stem and tapered needle point suitable for precise regulation of flow rate. Made from solid Hastelloy, our needle valves provide excellent sealing and precise control in low-flow service. They are wholly ASME, MSS, and ASTM compliant, and separately hydro-tested for leak-tight functionality. These small, robust valves are ideally suited for instrumentation, sampling, and chemical dosing systems where precise control and chemical incompatibility are paramount.
Our Hastelloy needle valves are constructed entirely of the nickel–chromium–molybdenum–iron superalloy containing approximately 57% Ni, 15% Mo, 16% Cr, and minute amounts of W and Fe. This composition provides excellent resistance to oxidizing and reducing conditions, and stress-corrosion cracking. Mechanical properties are tensile strength 100–120 ksi, yield strength 40–60 ksi, and elongation 30–40%. Solution annealing and precision machining provide tight tolerances, smooth stems, and consistent sealing surfaces—performance under pressure, temperature cycling, and harsh chemical environments.
