Hastelloy check valves are made from C-276, C-22, and B-3 grades—made up of nickel (55–60%), molybdenum (15–17%), chromium (14–16%), and iron. The alloys offer superior resistance to acid attack, chloride-induced pitting, and stress corrosion cracking. Mechanical properties are tensile strength of 100–125 ksi and yield strength of 40–60 ksi. Components are heat-treated to ASTM B564/B622 standards for increased toughness and structural performance. Precision-machined internals ensure tight shutoff, while the corrosion-resistant alloy body resists mechanical wear and chemical degradation under constant flow conditions.
