Elvis Nickel Alloys offers high-strength Hastelloy C-276 stud bolts from Houston for extreme-duty fastening in corrosive and high-temperature applications. Used in full-thread, double-end, tap-end, and custom design, our stud bolts are precision-machined to ANSI, ASTM, and DIN specifications. Used in flange connections, reactors, and pressure vessels, they ensure structural integrity over long periods in aggressive media. Our Hastelloy C-276 fasteners are comprehensively inspected for dimensions, hardness, and mechanical strength to become the off-shore rigs, chemical plants, and power facilities ideal choice. Each bolt is traceable and meets global material standards for safety-critical applications.
Hastelloy C-276 stud bolts consist of a high-nickel alloy containing ~57% nickel, 16% molybdenum, 15% chromium, iron, and tungsten. The alloy provides superior corrosion resistance against concentrated acids and oxidizing/reducing chemicals. Its mechanical properties are tensile strength between 100–125 ksi, yield strength of 40–60 ksi, and elongation over 30%. Each bolt is hot-forged or rolled and then solution-annealed to enhance mechanical stability, grain structure, fatigue, and stress corrosion resistance. These bolts are ASTM B574 conforming and ideal for high-pressure bolting applications subject to chemical and thermal stress.

Hastelloy C-276 stud bolts are critical in pressure vessel, reactor, storage tank, and piping system bolted flange connections that are exposed to corrosive fluids. Widespread in petrochemical and chemical plants, marine drilling platforms, pulp mills, and pollution control equipment, these bolts withstand chemical attack by acid, chlorides, and sulfides. They are employed to lock valves, pumps, heat exchangers, and structural joints in applications where failure may cause catastrophic leaks or downtime. They are strong, resistant to corrosion, and dimensionally consistent and thus well-suited for bolting in conditions of high temperature, pressure cycling, and aggressive media.
