Duplex Steel S31803 Wire consists of about 22% chromium, 5-6% nickel, 3% molybdenum, and nitrogen. This microstructure creates a well-balanced microstructure of ferrite and austenite with outstanding resistance against pitting, crevice corrosion, as well as stress corrosion cracking. The wire possesses high tensile strength (~620 MPa), yield strength (~450 MPa), and optimum fatigue life.
