Serving Houston, the United States, and international industrial markets, Elvis Nickel Alloys is a reputable manufacturer and supplier of duplex steel forgings. Because of their exceptional strength, resistance to corrosion, and durability, our duplex steel forgings are well-suited for high-stress, high-temperature applications. These forgings, which are made from premium duplex stainless steel, have outstanding resistance to pitting, stress corrosion, cracking, and crevice corrosion. We offer both standard and custom forgings in a range of sizes and specifications, including shafts, discs, rings, and flanges. For all essential engineering requirements, Elvis Nickel Alloys is dedicated to accuracy, quality control, and prompt delivery.
Duplex stainless steels, such as UNS S31803 and S32205, which have a composition of roughly 22–25% chromium, 4.5–6.5% nickel, 3–5% molybdenum, and trace amounts of nitrogen and manganese, are used to make duplex steel forgings. Excellent strength and resistance to corrosion are provided by this dual-phase (ferritic-austenitic) structure. Duplex forgings have yield strength that is almost twice as high as that of austenitic stainless steels and high tensile strength (620–850 MPa). They provide outstanding defence against erosion, fatigue, corrosion, and cracking caused by chloride stress. They are perfect for demanding environments that demand strength and resilience because the forging process further improves mechanical integrity, grain structure, and durability.

Duplex steel forgings are utilised in high-strength industries that demand superior corrosion resistance and strength. They are utilised in subsea equipment, valves, connectors, and flanges in the oil and gas industry where resistance to environments high in chloride is essential. They are used in reactors, mixers, and pressure vessels in chemical and petrochemical facilities. Duplex forgings are used in power plants for high-pressure systems and turbines. Their ability to withstand seawater in offshore platforms and ship components is advantageous to the marine industry. They are also utilised in desalination facilities and pulp and paper manufacturing facilities. Forgings made of duplex steel have a long lifespan in environments with high levels of corrosion and mechanical stress.
