Duplex Steel 2205 Wire has about 22% of chromium, 5-6% of nickel, 3% of molybdenum, and nitrogen, with a stable austenite-ferrite microstructure. This alloy provides high tensile strength (~620 MPa), yield strength (~450 MPa), and superior resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion. The wire provides superior fatigue resistance, thermal stability, and weldability. The mechanical properties of the wire are stable at high temperature and pressure conditions.
